Grow a screen named name on the compositor at socket_path, holding it
open until remove_screen. Idempotent for a name already held.
size and scale only seed the screen: a nested KWin output follows the
host window a capture output adopts. The stream’s verdict is not the
screen’s (see the module docstring), so a refusal is confirmed against the
output-device globals before it is reported.
